A few months ago my kids and I got to visit the Eric Carle Museum. We had a blast. It is seriously such a picturesque location. Western Massachusetts is just beautiful and I love the slower paced way of life. It is just so peaceful. The museum was fabulous. It had a childrens book library, an amazing art studio, a theater and so many beautiful galleries. It had not only Eric Carles amazing artwork but it also featured other childrens book artists which I thought was fabulous! The galleries were filled with books by each artist so children of all ages had plenty to do besides just looking at the artwork. There were little hidden treasures everywhere- like the tiles in the bathroom that were decorated with characters from Eric Carles famous book "Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see?" It was awesome!! I have written two reviews about this museum but this little post is just a shout out because I have been thinking about it lately. We NEED to go back!
Need something to do in Western Mass? Enjoy the Eric Carle Museum of Childrens Book Art!
